The Don Garlits Museum Drag Racing and International Drag Racing Hall of Fame is open every day between 9 AM and 5 PM. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.
We have fewer than 300 cars between two buildings. The average tour takes about 2 to 3 hours. Pictures are welcome.
Our antique building has one of the largest collections of Ford’s, also included in the collection are muscle cars and rare vintage automobiles. Our dragracing building has a collection of world-famous, history making dragsters, funny cars, motorcycles, and many other exciting racing vehicles from the early days of dragracing to current day.
Spread throughout the two buildings is an amazing collection of hemi engines, flathead engines, rare manifolds, and carburetors that have been restored by Don Garlits himself. We also have it covered pavilion located outside of the antique building with 14 picnic tables that seat around 6 to 8 people per table, Sonny’s BBQ is right around the corner and offers catering.
