The Petersen Automotive Museum is dedicated to the exploration and presentation of the automobile and its impact on American life and culture using Los Angeles as the prime example. Encompassing more than 100,000 square feet, its exhibits feature more than 150 rare and classic cars, trucks and motorcycles.
The Petersen Automotive Museum Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) educational institution. The Museum is located at 6060 Wilshire Boulevard (at Fairfax) in Los Angeles, California 90036. Admission prices are $15 for general admission adults, $12 for seniors, $12 for students with ID, $7 for children ages 5 to 12. Museum members, active military with ID and children under three are admitted free. Parking is free for the first 30 minutes and $12 thereafter. One hour validation with purchase of $75 or more in the Museum Store. Museum hours are Monday through Sunday from 10am to 6pm.
